Veteran-owned roofing for the Treasure Valley. New construction, re-roofs, and storm damage — done on schedule, cleaned up right, and backed in writing.
Mountain West Roofing is a veteran-owned roofing company based in Eagle, Idaho, serving builders and homeowners across the Treasure Valley — Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell, Star, Kuna and the surrounding communities — with plans to expand into Salt Lake City.
We handle new construction and residential re-roofs, using materials rated for what Idaho actually throws at a roof: summer heat, winter ice, and the wind that comes down the valley in between.
Our standard is simple. Show up when we said we would, do the job right the first time, and leave the property cleaner than we found it. Licensed and insured in Idaho, RCE-3281728.
Full tear-off down to the deck so we can see what we're working with. Rotten or delaminated sheathing gets replaced, not covered over. New underlayment, new flashing, new pipe boots, and shingles rated for Idaho wind. Most homes are a one to two day job.
We work with builders across the valley on new-build homes — installed to spec, coordinated to your schedule, inspection-ready the first time. You've got a certificate of occupancy riding on the schedule and we're not going to be the trade that holds it up.
Wind and hail damage isn't always visible from the ground, and that's exactly where claims get lost. We inspect, photograph, and document what we find, then meet your adjuster on site so nothing legitimate gets written off. Free inspection.
Leaks, missing or lifted shingles, failed flashing, cracked pipe boots, ice dam damage, and the mystery stain on the bedroom ceiling. Most repairs are a same-day or next-day job once we've had a look.
Buying a house, selling one, or just not sure how much life is left up there. We'll get on the roof, take photos, and give you a straight answer. No obligation, no sales pitch.
Your time is worth something. If we give you a date, that's the date. If weather moves it, you hear it from us first — not by waiting around on a truck that never comes.
Tarps over the landscaping before the first shingle comes off. A rolling magnet across the driveway, walkways and lawn before we pull out. You should be able to let the dog out that evening without thinking twice.
Plenty of roofs have five good years left in them. If yours is one of them, we'll say so and show you the photos. We'd rather be the company you call in five years than the one that talked you into something today.
Veteran owned and operated. The habits carried over — show up early, do it right, account for your gear.
Licensed and insured in Idaho. RCE-3281728. Certificate of insurance in your hands before we start.
We handle permits and inspections. You don't chase the city. We do.
Written workmanship warranty, plus full manufacturer warranties on materials.
Financing available, so a roof you need now doesn't have to wait for a roof you can pay for later.
Local crew, not storm chasers. We live here. We're not leaving town after the next hailstorm.
Photos and daily updates, so you know what's happening on your roof even when you're at work.
Wind and hail damage often looks like nothing from the driveway — bruised shingles, granule loss in the gutters, lifted edges you'd never spot from the ground. Insurance claims have filing deadlines, and a lot of legitimate damage goes unclaimed simply because nobody got up there in time.
We'll inspect the roof, document everything with photographs, and tell you honestly whether it's worth filing. If it is, we'll be standing there when the adjuster comes out.
Free inspection. No obligation, no sales pitch.
A roof rarely fails at a convenient moment. We offer financing so you can get the work done now and pay for it on a schedule that fits your budget, rather than nursing a leak through another winter.
Ask about options when we come out for your estimate.
How quickly can you start my project?
It depends on the season and the weather. Storm work and active leaks jump the queue, because water in a house gets more expensive by the hour. Call us and we’ll tell you honestly where you’d land in the schedule rather than promising you next week and showing up next month. Estimates are free and we can usually get out to look within a few days.
Do I need to secure permits myself?
No. We handle all permitting and code compliance and coordinate directly with the local jurisdiction, so you are never the one chasing the city. The same goes for insurance work — if you are filing a storm or hail claim, we inspect the roof, document the damage with photographs, and meet your adjuster on site so the scope reflects what is actually up there.
What warranty do you offer on your work?
We warranty our workmanship in writing and honor the full manufacturer warranty on every material we install, and we’ll walk you through the specific terms for your roof before you sign anything. We carry Idaho registration RCE-3281728 along with full liability and workers’ comp coverage, and we’ll hand you a certificate of insurance before we start — you should be asking that of every contractor who gets on your roof.
